Originating from Morocco, this new geometric Moroccan rug has distinct characteristics of newer-loom production, as well as a unique field design among its family. While older Moroccan looms were too small to accommodate area rugs of this size, newer looms like the one that produced this piece enjoy spaciousness and plush, mixed pile height. This is especially visible in the lower height of the borders as it leads into the highly stylized black geometric pattern, before the rows of inviting, softly textured cream white pile. Additionally, unique to this piece is the fractured, shorter geometric lines between the prevalent lows, accenting the dimensionality created by this choice of chic but versatile colorways.
