In her debut carpet collection, Shewekar adds even more finesse to our beloved Lotus flower by elongating its stems evoking a sensation of movement, and contrasting it with a simple geometric design and a royal green fringe. The unique cut-out rug is hand-knotted by the best artisans in Egypt, made from 100% Egyptian wool with bamboo silk inlay, with 160,000 knots per square meter.
The design takes into consideration how a space is furnished, enabling any home-owner to easily integrate it into their living space to add depth and charm.
Note: Due to the intricate handmade process of weaving and dyeing of colors, rugs of this type are truly one-of-a-kind. Each rug has a unique personality, no two rugs are exactly the same.
