Authentic vintage Tuareg mat, handmade in Mauritania in the 1970s with woven reed and natural leather inserts. This fine craftsmanship measures 292 x 240 cm and is the result of the mastery of the nomadic peoples of the Sahara, heirs to a millennia-old tradition.
Originally used as a covering in Tuareg tents to protect against heat and sand, this mat is now a rare collector's item that combines functionality, spirituality, and ethnic design. The geometric patterns, made with traditional technique, reflect tribal symbolism and a deep connection with nature.
