Original vintage Tuareg mat handmade in the 1980s in Mauritania. Woven from natural reed and decorated with leather strips, this mat was traditionally used inside nomadic Tuareg tents to protect against the heat and sand of the desert. The engraved geometric patterns reflect cultural and spiritual symbols passed down through generations. This rare example of African craftsmanship combines function and beauty, making it ideal as a floor rug, wall decoration or distinctive element in minimalist, ethnic or contemporary interiors. Each imperfection tells of its authenticity and historical value.
