On the Design:
Admirers of the craft will especially appreciate Tuareg mats as distinct works with their own rich history and unique, masterful craftsmanship. This design is also one of few in its kind to favor a minimalist approach to the primitivist Berber geometric patterns, specifically tribal motifs in rich black tones with a natural sense of depth and arresting dimensionality against the more neutral, natural brown reed ground. The runner length and particular scale further connote a particularly intricate work—likely made by two or more weavers with meticulous detail.
