Vintage American Hand Hooked Rug in Block Pattern
Located in Barrington, IL
Vintage American hand hooked area rug in a block pattern circa the early 20th century. The very unique and beautiful design in this vintage folk art hooked rug consists of a 4 x 6 block pattern each containing a different design. The colors in each block are vibrant and make them stand out. Beautiful piece of Americana folk art to be used as a table top display or a wall art.
The hooked rugs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries are made with recycled old material, often used clothing that had been cut into narrow stripes. Vintage American Navajo Rug in Storm Pattern in Maroon, Black, Gray, Ivory
Located in Barrington, IL
A striking example of mid-20th century Native American textile artistry, this vintage Navajo rug from the American Southwest features the revered Storm Pattern, a sacred and culturally significant motif within Navajo weaving traditions. Handwoven in the early 20th century, this long runner combines rustic Americana charm with a wonderfully modern, graphic aesthetic.
Ideal for hallways, kitchens, and transitional spaces, this piece offers design flexibility—its length can be custom-cut, and finished with your choice of color for the side and end bindings. This allows for a tailored, clean look while enhancing the durability of the rug in high-traffic areas.
Both functional and visually striking, this one-of-a-kind runner is perfect for those seeking a vintage textile with personality, sustainability, and design versatility.
