About the Item
This is a pair of American hooked rugs woven during the beginning of the 20th century circa 1900 and measures 108 x 60 CM in size. These oval-shaped rugs have a floral design with blossoming flowers set on a delicate pink background color. The border is comprised of a spiraling vine with green leaves and a classical golden hooked design. The beige outer border acts as a frame around the rug to complete the drawing. The American hooked technique creates a flat weave with zero pile but allows the Weaver to translate the design with extreme precision. this pair of area rugs have been woven with all-natural vegetable dyes and will provide a classical floral theme to its surroundings.
