This folk art hooked rug features a whimsical animal motif framed by a distinctive rippling border pattern. The central feline figure, rendered in soft gray tones, appears to be in playful motion against a cream ground, surrounded by bold green foliage elements. The border treatment is particularly noteworthy, with concentric wavy lines creating a sense of movement, while coral-red corner accents add visual punctuation.
