About the Item

This truly antique piece shows the red and orange-rust synthetic dyes characteristic of the later 19th century. A bold and floating doubly pinched pattern results in a central nested lozenge and end en suite triangles. Four stars in the lateral reserves. Ivory and rust borders, sawtooth laterals only. Blankets have transitioned to rugs in this striking piece. Excellent condition. Measures: 3' 4" x 5' 8".
