This one of kin Navajo features neutral tones and a unique design patterned. The Whirling log dates back dates back to the mid 1800s in Navajo weavings. The whirling log is a sacred symbol and represents good luck, protection and a positive well being. The talented Navajo weaver wove the rug with wool yarns dyed with aniline dyes, natural dyes, and natural fleece colors. The weave is in mint condition with minor spots/stains. All of these factors combine to make this rug a truly extraordinary and coveted piece of history.
