This Submerge Hide Rug was designed in collaboration between Kyle Bunting and Interior Designer Marc Thee for their 2018 rug collection.
About the Design:
Through extreme heating and cooling, magma builds, overflows and cumulates, creating the varying widths and depths of the Earth’s soil and rock. Submerge emulates these layers by using various organic shapes of hide that seem to shift and move as they flow from the design’s central core.
Materials
Assembly:
This rug will be made from the finest French Charolais leather that has been dyed in Italy before being imported to the USA where it will be assembled by hand by artisans.
Non-Slip Backing:
This item comes with a proprietary non-slip backing which eliminates the need for a rug pad.
