This beautiful rug has an ivory color background with a tree design in the center and with branches emanating from the land to the heavens with each branch having the design of the bird with different colors. The rug has an inner border in turquoise color and an outer border in brown. It would be an ideal wall tapestry art work. American Southwestern rugs are generally flat woven with wool for the body of the rug and usually cotton foundation.
