An unbelievable late 19th century Persian Khorasan Dorokhst rug with a four part mirrored pattern containing a central diamond medallion with a floral and leaf motif, on a pale cranberry background with a similar motif. The border is complex with a wide central multicolored floral and leaf pattern on a dark indigo background flanked by multiple petite floral and leaf pattered stripes.
