Hand-knotted in Iran, this blue, red, and cream Persian Kazak carpet measures 5’2” x 6’11” and belongs to Orley Shabahang’s Antique collection. Created using traditional Persian weaving techniques, this carpet features a luxuriously soft pile and a durable foundation. The red and blue shades of wool, derived from organic vegetable dyes, are still preferred by weavers today for their bright tones and fade-resistant qualities. The carpet features an Imperial Eagle motif along with several other traditional designs.
