This Persian Qashqai carpet, circa 1880 consists of a pure handspun wool warp, weft and hand knotted pile and organic vegetable dyes. It demonstrates the Classic playful geometric style of these Qashqai pieces utilizing a pleasing overall layout and numerous smaller motifs. The colors are subtle yet rich, with beautiful rusty reds alongside a darker blue and accents of orange, cream, and a brighter blue. It is an exceptional carpet in excellent vintage condition. The size is 4'9" x 6'2".
