About the Item

This Persian Sultanabad carpet circa 1880 consists of handspun wool and natural vegetal dyes. Created in the Sultanabad workshop of the Swiss artist Zigler, it is an extremely fine piece in exceptional antique condition, with blue and gold coloration and red accents throughout its intricate border. The size is 11' x 14'3". Orley Shabahang takes pride in selecting and curating the finest vintage and antique carpets, ensuring that the preservation of this ancient art form will endure for generations to come.
