About the Item
Crafted over 100 years ago in Iran, this antique Persian Saraband carpet is hand-knotted and measures 4’5” x 6’11”. This piece introduces patterns and tones strongly associated with Saraband carpets yet is woven using a Hamadan weave. The blue, green, red, brown, and pink shades of wool originate from organic vegetable dyes and are selected for their bright and fade-resistant tones. The cream and brown hues are all-natural shades of wool, and their neutral tones provide a neutral palette suitable for almost any interior.
