This antique hand-woven Persian Serab rug features a terracotta field with diagonal rows of linked lozenges forming a lattice and each lozenge containing two pairs of ivory flowerheads and angular floral motifs surrounding a pair of ivory cusped lozenges containing a central blue diagonal lozenge surrounded by angular floral vine, an ivory linked lozenge narrow border between light blue reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, outer broad plain camel-brown stripe.
