Originating from Persia in 1910, this antique Bakhshaish Persian runner features an uncommon Minimalist approach to vibrant colourways in its geometric field design. Hand knotted in durable, Fine wool, the guard border depicts a repetition of elegant bird patterns (cultural symbols of good prospects), both playing into the geometric repetition of Vermillion red, rustic blue, and beige while emboldening the luminous bronze background that permeates the entirety of this intricate rug.
