Connoisseurs will admire this piece as inspired by Persian Bakhtiari rugs, with a play of medallion and all over style to its dense floral patterns. The mirrored guard and innermost borders give dimensionality to the unique black background in this medallion style field design, which respectively emboldens the vibrant variations of red, teal, pink, blue, white, and golden carnation symbols throughout its perfect symmetry. A floral scroll with the same hues in equal finesse complements the textural blue middle border, which in turn frames the portrait with symbolism nodding to the garden of Eden and rejuvenation themes.
