In 1930, a Bakhtiari Khersak rug measuring 4'6X6'6 emerged, adorned with Deep Navy and Desert Rose shades in an Open Field Design. Khersak rugs, known for their shaggy and plush texture, derive their name from the Farsi term "khersak," meaning "the little bear."
