About the Item
In this listing you will find an antique Bashiri Chuval or storage bag characterized by its deep red color and repeating geometric and floral tribal pattern. The chuval is done in thick and soft pile of natural dyed wool and it is made as a storage bag or a pillow case as a large floor pillow. Woven by Bashir weavers, traditionally associated with the Khanate of Bokhara (near the borders of Afghanistan, and Pakistan). Estimated age of this chuval is 100-120 years.
It is in very good antique condition with some signs of time and use.
