About the Item
Bidjar Kurdish city rugs are always robust and solid, and this one with a red field of small flowers is no exception. The navy subfield is stepped on the slanted ends and displays a rough variant of the allover Herati design. The ecru main border shows a continuous tendril market by stylized palmettes and slanted oak leaves. Good condition with a resilient, high quality wool pile.
