This antique, circa 1900, Tabriz rug has a pale-brown field with a dense floral and arabesque vine around a central light brown and ivory cusped medallion with pendants the medallion with a central ivory lozenge issuing soft-brown soft brown palmettes, surrounded by a dense scrolling and floral vine, the shaded light-brown and light blue spandrels similar, in a fox-brown border of dense floral and leafy vine linking a ivory and shaded light blue palmettes between ivory floral vine stripes, outer narrow meandering floral stripe.
