About the Item

This antique, circa 1900, Persian Serab Runner has a camel-brown field with a light-blue lozenge lattice linked by a tiny flowerhead each lozenge enclosing a delicate polychrome floral motif, around a central chocolate-brown serrated lozenge with palmette pendants containing a polychrome serrated leaf and floral vine, in a narrow royal-blue border of polychrome floral and leafy vine between brick-red ribbon pattern stripes, plain outer camel-brown stripe with minor floral motifs.
