About the Item
This elegant antique Kurdish rug circa late 1800s is expertly hand-knotted from 100% naturally dyed wool. It displays a classic Persian-style with an incredibly intricate geometric and floral pattern surrounded by a delicate double border, all in a rich, refined color palette in variegated shades of red, pink, blue, brown, black and gold. The large size and unique proportion which is wider than a typical runner give it functional versatility. This exquisite floor rug has a tribal, yet sophisticated style that pairs well with a wide range of decor styles.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some minor fringe loss and some sporadic fraying to edges, not out of line with overall vintage character.
