A fabulous antique Kirman Lavar carpet, woven circa 1910. The design features a large floral medallion on a deep indigo field and ivory border. Note the numerous birds of paradise throughout the field. Lovely wool quality and great secondary colours!
Size: 4.18m x 3.10m (13ft 8in x 10ft 2in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a small, narrow band (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
