About the Item
This Kurdish west Persian village runner shows a dark brown field covered with half drop rows of stylized, openwork flowers in the characteristic Kurdish style. The ecru main border exhibits a version of the “crab” pattern with red or goldenrod flattened, jagged crabs and colourful extended “claws”. Bitonal keyhole reciprocal minors. Wool foundation. Moderate weave. Good condition.
