Hand-knotted in the early 20th Century, this large antique Persian Lavar Kerman rug has a stunning jewel-like palette and design that have only gotten richer over the years, accruing beautiful textures through wear. A central field of intricate floral and geometric motifs brings together a palette of reds, blues, and warm beiges. These are echoed in the series of surrounding borders.

In good condition. Wear and fading throughout, with minor holes and fraying, that are all consistent with the rug's age and use, and adds to the value and character of the rug. Newly cleaned.
