About the Item

One of the most sought after designs of antique Persian rugs. This Garoos (Garrus) Bijar is hand woven with a very soft wool, dyed with all organic elements such as Saffron, pomegranate skin, Sunflower hues and seashell . A true example of the splendor of an antique persian rug, with full pile and minor wears makes this piece one of a kind. Notice the beautiful abrash in the border and in various areas of the rug. The green color in the borders and highlighted throughout are absolutely breathtaking. Small restoration has done by a master weaver. The fantastic border makes a beautiful frame for this piece of art one can enjoy on the floor.
