Measures: 3'2 x 6'3 Antique Persian Kurdish Rug in Blue, Green, Brown, and Soft Red. Keivan Woven Arts / rug EMB-22168-15032, Keivan Woven Arts / country of origin / type: Iran / Kurdish, circa 1900. This antique distressed Kurdish tribal rug was woven by Kurdish weavers in western Persia. Often they used this repeating tribal design in the border, woven along in varying colored panels. The emphasis with these rugs is on their tribal and unique design. The dyes are all natural and there is lovely variation, resulting in pieces with great character.
