72241, antique Persian Malayer runner Victorian Manor House style. This hand knotted wool antique Persian Malayer runner features an all-over boteh pattern spread across an abrashed red field. The widely used boteh motif is thought to symbolize life with its resemblance to a number of natural forms, including leaves, bushes, pine-cones, sprouts and flames. It is enclosed with ink blue corner spandrels and a Classic Shekeri border flanked with an inner and outer rosette meander guard band and subsidiary barber pole stripes. Perfect for a hallway, corridor, kitchen, long foyer, entryway, stair landing, home office, private library, nook, parlor, small sitting area, vestibule, or it would make a lovely accent in a living room, bedroom, dining room, front room, great room, state room, family room, studio, study, loft, and lounge. Well-suited for a wide range of interior styles: Manor House, Tudor, Victorian, Elizabethan, Traditional, Queen Anne, Eastlake, Aesthetic Movement, Artisan, Bungalow, Arts
