76808 Antique Persian Mashhad Rug with Traditional Style 06'09 x 10'04. With its ornate floral detailing and rich colors, this hand-knotted wool antique Persian Mashhad rug displays timeless elegance and regal charm. An all-over Herati pattern composed of blooming palmettes, curved sickle leaves, rosettes, leafy tendrils, delicate blossoms, and meandering vines rhythmically dance across the abrashed tan colored field. The Classic Herati design is among the most widespread and well known of all Persian designs, consisting of a flower centered in a diamond accompanied by curving lanceolate leaves that resemble fish. It is framed by a classic Shah Abbas border, flanked by two meandering rosette guard borders, creating a well-balanced and timeless design. This traditional style Mashhad area rug brings a subtle elegance and can function as the perfect grounding tool for the entire space. Highlighting classic elements of Persian style, the refined color palette centered on shades of red and navy blue hues is poised to impress, exuding a sense of Classic sophistication.
