Kilim’s rich Antique collection, this is a 4x7 Persian Qum rug, hand-knotted in silk, circa 1920-1930. A collectible of the titular Persian provenance intended to be a special work of majesty.
On the Design
A rich golden brown underscores an all over floral pattern in the herati style, favoring beige-brown, crimson red and white tones. Keen eyes will further admire the silk’s natural sheen, and the brilliant play of light and luxurious compliment it lends the piece from every angle.
