This hand-knotted Antique Persian Sarab Rug features an all-over geometric pattern composed of boteh motifs in bright orange red against a variegated abrash backdrop in sand and dark chocolate. Multiple guard borders surround with a flowering meandering vine while a primary border surrounds with eight-pointed stars, diamonds, and quatrefoil crosses. An outermost border features a row of keyholes against a red backdrop. Rustic with time-softened hues this Persian Sarab rug is a well-loved beauty with endless charms. Capable of a variety of design applications, this antique Sarab rug will delight the senses for decades to come. Rendered in variegated shades of vermilion, persimmon, pumpkin, terra cotta, burnt orange, burnt sienna, coffee, sienna, camel, tan, ecru, ink blue, navy blue, gray, greige, and beige with lavender abrash.
