The abrashed red field features an open elongated floral medallion surrounded by an all-over botanical garden scene composed of floral bouquets with blooming palmettes, leafy tendrils, rosettes, curved sickle leaves, floral sprigs, and delicate blossoms. Floral sprigs grace each corner spandrel. It is enclosed with carnation meander border flanked with inner and outer angular Meander guard bands. Emanating grace and sumptuous refinement, this antique Persian Sarouk rug would bring a sense of nostalgic charm to nearly any interior.
