About the Item
Qashghai Shiraz Rug
The open abrashed light brown field is fixed by a pole medallion of two large, dark brown densely layered diamonds and a smaller central diamond with a focal star. Stepped, diagonally tonally opposed stepped corners in red and light blue. Main ecru border with stars, inner with broken colour diagonals. Chessboard stripes at each end. Symmetric knots, medium tribal weave. Could be a Khamseh from the same area.
