About the Item

The soft rust field of this transitional Sultanabad to Mahal carpet displays a spacious pattern of ragged palmettes, straight vertical stems and open lozenge reserves. The pattern is big and bold with ivory, goldenrod and green as accent tones. The border is more in the Mahal style with jagged palmettes and octofoil rosettes on green.
