About the Item
The source of the carpet comes from the book The Kevorkoff Carpet, Hali Magazine 1994 Issue 73. This is a large and brilliantly colored, derivation from a vase carpet, an 18th-century rug from the North-west Persia area. As mentioned in the Hali magazine article by Ian Bennett, the original size is about 5m in height, two large vases appear in the center of the field at the top and bottom and other typical vase carpet features are recognizable including large Shah Abbas palmettes and huge curving sickle leaves. Our one-vase carpet design makes an interesting composition with a size available of 3.5m. The most appropriate colors to match the original is used for this rug.

We are aware that the way to achieve this goal and carry this priceless art and culture to the future depends on a lot of work with all our people every day while adhering to our core values.

We are tirelessly keeping an eye on auction house information around the world about carpets. New York's Metropolitan, London's Victoria
Albert Museums, and other famous art museums, as well as small specialized museums that house private collections, and books about oriental carpets to collect information on outstanding carpet designs and patterns from around the world. It's our Self-improving and Self-developing culture.
As Turkish Culture of Hospitality, the Kurdish Culture of Generosity, and as Japanese Culture of Business Punctuality; are the most important values that this multicultural background has taught and bequeathed to us. It is essential and valuable for us that you feel this feeling not only by looking at our oriental carpets but from the moment you contact us.

Located in New York, NY
Oversize antique Persian Baktiari rug, circa 1890. Measures: 12' x 18'10. Feeling like a VIP? Like a person of importance? Maybe this mansion-size antique Persian carpet with a white field and an inscription indicating it was woven in the early 20th century for an oil-rich tribal ruler is for you. The cypresses and vase at the lower end usher one into a spring garden (on your estate?). Out of the vase and from thin flanking plants a verdant array of spring flowers explodes upwards in a Directional pattern. Saturated greens yellows reds and blues detail the dense scatter fill of floral devices. The narrow red palmettes border and the associated yellow and deep brown minors can scarcely contain the fields energy. The pattern is Directional, pointing towards your very comfortable and luxurious seating furniture. With you on it, of course. This is not a Minimalist carpet...
