This antique, Circa 1920, Persian Tabriz rug has an ivory field with an overall design of bold mole-brown palmettes with scrolling floral and leafy vine linking further bold brick-red and light blue palmettes and stylized vases issuing floral sprays, in a broad mole-grey border of delicate floral vine linking ivory and buff-brown alternating palmettes between apricot floral vine stripes, outer plain light blue narrow stripes.
