About the Item
A hand-knotted Oriental rug inred and blue, made in the 1980s. Pile is pure wool, warp and weft is cotton. The rug is in very good condition with vibrant colors.

This is a vintage rug with little wear consistent with age and use, fresh washed.
Size: approx. 13. x 10, or 390 x 305 cm (plus short fringe on both sides)
The design can be categorized in Persian rugs, Tabriz rugs and Indian rugs. The age is vintage, late 20th Century art.
Shape: Rectangular ( handmade rugs are never exactly straight an even in shape).
This type of rug goes well in a setting such as South-Western, Rustic or Traditional interiors, but will also set a great contrast to Contemporary oder Modern styled homes. The size will fit well to a wide hallway or in front of a bed, but also decorates any living room or dining room.
