Traditional style and rustic sensibility with romantic connotations, this hand-knotted wool distressed antique Persian Mahal runner is a vision of woven beauty. The lovingly time-worn field features a two floral medallion outlined with opulent frondescence. A dense floral and botanical pattern comprised of blooming palmettes, leafy tendrils, rosettes, floral sprigs, and delicate blossoms grace the corner spandrels. It is enclosed with complementary botanical border flanked with an inner and outer sawtooth guard border. Perfect for a hallway, long entry, grand foyer, designer entryway, galley kitchen, corridor, long stair landing, grand parlor, home office, private library, conservatory, wine cellar, executive suite, theater room, billiards room, game room, bedroom, study, studio, sitting room, sunroom or it would make a lovely accent next to a buffet in a dining room, behind the sofa table in the living room, or by a long vestibule in a hotel lobby.
