73481, distressed antique camel hair Persian Malayer runner with warm, Feminine Rustic style. Warm, feminine rustic style meets unpretentious and simple. This hand knotted wool distressed antique Persian Malayer runner features a low contrast all-over geometric pattern composed of repeating scorpion motifs forming a honeycomb latticework design. Miniature ziggurats with a jagged outline protrude towards the centre. A zigzag saw-tooth minor guard band surrounds the field. It is enclosed with a triple border composed of a carnation Meander border flanked by two meandering boteh and floral vine guard borders and four subsidiary comb or ladder stripes. The corner spandrels are adorned with a Herati pattern with large-scale acanthus-leaves. This distressed antique Malayer runner is the answer to rustic feminine interiors with delicate glamour and grace. Perfect for an entry, corridor, small vestibule, foyer, hallway, entryway, hall, bedroom, office, sitting room, parlor, den, studio, study, library, office, or mudroom.
