Woven in west-central Iran around 1920, the piece presents an intricate interplay of symmetry, subtle color gradation, and time-softened elegance, all hallmarks of the Malayer weaving tradition. The runner features a series of diamond medallions extending along its length, each densely filled with delicate floral motifs and flanked by stylized leaves and rosettes.
