A gorgeous early 20th century Persian Malayar rug with a beautiful central diamond medallion with a an all-over floral pattern. The medallion is surrounded by field of all-over trellis floral pattern woven in indigo and pink, on a crimson background. The border is traditional, with a central stripe of stylized leaves and scrolling vines flanked by matching petite floral and leave borders.
