A beautiful early 20th century Persian Hamadan rug with two large medallions with stylized leaves and flowers woven in muted reds, indigos, browns, and creams, set against an indigo field with more stylized flowers and chickens. The border is wide with a wonderful repeated pattern of stylized flowers and leaves woven in similar colors as the field.
