A gorgeous early 20th century Persian Hamadan rug with a wonderful central diamond medallion filled with stylized flowers, flanked by more flowers, and all living on a pale crimson field with a simple small diamond patterned ground. The border is equally notable with a repeated stylized floral pattern, and all woven in varying shades of indigo, crimson, cream, and white wool.
