Vintage Persian Qashqai (Ghashghai) Tribal Area Rug, hand-knotted in Southwestern Persia circa the mid-1900s. The Qashqai nomadic tribes are celebrated for their distinctive weaving traditions, producing rugs that are as rich in cultural narrative as they are in beauty and durability. This Qashqai rug showcases a classic traditional tribal design format, centered around a prominent single large medallion that anchors the composition.
