An exceptional early 20th century Persian Bidjar rug with a fantastic central field composed with a floral and vine trellis pattern rendered in brilliant crimson, light and dark indigo, and cream colored vegetable dyed wool, on a bold indigo background. The border is contrasting with a wide bright floral patterned border flanked by two matching petite floral and vine borders woven on contrasting indigo backgrounds.
