A fascinating late 19th century Caucasian Perpetual rug with an incredible tribal pattern of stylized flowers and leaves, and chickens are expertly woven in crimson, indigo, and natural wools, all on a rich indigo background. The border is outstanding! Multiple geometric patterns masterfully woven in alternating orange and natural wool, mixed with a large-scale geometric and floral design on a dark indigo background. Exquisite.
